Dr Richard Taws, Assistant Professor, History of Art, McGill University, Montreal

UCL History of Art is pleased to announce the Tomás Harris Visiting Professorship Lectures to be delivered by Dr Richard Taws (UCL History of Art 1999, 2005), McGill University, Montreal.

Richard Taws is assistant professor in Art History, specializing in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century European art, with a particular interest in the visual culture of the French Revolution. Before coming to McGill in 2007 he taught at UCL, where he will present the Tomás Harris Visiting Professorship Lectures in 2010, and in 2006-7 he was a J. Paul Getty Postdoctoral Fellow.
