Over the last 18 months, Michaela Nettell has been working with UCL neuroscientist Hugo Spiers and sound designer Tom Simmons on an art-science research project funded by the Wellcome Trust. They have been exploring a neuroscientific theory of memory known as Pattern Completion and have created this audio-visual installation that projects video sequences and sound recordings into a constellation of suspended glass spheres.

As well as the 2 day exhibition of the installation there will also be presentations on the afternoon of Saturday 22nd (4pm to 6pm) by the creators plus three guest speakers: artist Helen Maurer, poet Andrew McDonnell and Dr M Peg Rawes, Senior Lecturer in Architectural History and Theory at the Bartlett.
