Professor Moura Quayle, Visiting lecturer at UCL, University of British Columbia

Moura Quayle's lecture, Closing the Research-Policy Gap: Green Vancouver and the Pacific Coast Collaborative, will reflect on the challenges in deploying research knowledge to agree political change, with specific reference to her role in the Green Vancouver intitiative, and in the Pacific Coast Collaborative, PCC. The PCC is a mega-region of 52 million people in Alaska, British Columbia, California, Oregon and Washington, seeking a sutainable regional economy by cooperation on clean energy, regional transportation, innovation, research and development.

Moura Quayle is currently visiting the UCL Bartlett School of Graduate Studies as Honorary Senior Research associate. She has a distinguished career as a landscape architect, educationalist and policy-maker working for the university, for the City of Vancouver, and for the premier of British Columbia.
