Speaker information
Dr Paul Buell
This series brings together leading scholars and research students of Asian medicine who have taken their work beyond the boundaries of region, language and intellectual discipline. They will address either those systems or traditions that survive into the modern/ contemporary period and/or place a greater emphasis on methodological challenges. Speakers will concentrate on the particular issues that arise in studying Asian living traditions, as well as reflecting on the twentieth-century historiography of Asian(in this instance, mainly Chinese) Medicine.
Please note: This event has been cancelled due to the current problems with international travel.
