Speaker information

Sarah Outen

In August 2009, 24 year old Sarah Outen became the first woman and the youngest person to row solo across the Indian Ocean, as well as the youngest of only 8 women to row any ocean solo. The 124 day, 4,000 mile voyage took her from Perth, South West Australia to Mauritius and raised £30,000 for charity. Now home from the ocean, she is developing plans for future projects alongside writing a book about her row.

We invite you to come and listen to Sarah share her exciting adventures.
