Speaker information

Professor David Nutt, Professor of Neuropsychopharmacology, Imperial College, Professor Nutt is a clinical scientist and the holder of the Edmond J Safra Chair of Neuropsychopharmacology at Imperial College. He trained at Cambridge and Guy's Hospital, and went on to specialise in psychiatry and neuropsychopharmacology. He was formerly the chairman of the government's Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Royal College of Psychiatrists and the Academy of Medical Sciences.

Former government advisor and eminent researcher Professor Nutt will be discussing UK drugs policy in an entertaining lecture as part of Brain Awareness Week and the Queen Square Symposium.
