Speaker information

David M. Jacobson

This keynote talk is part of a two-day international conference on Judaea and Rome in Coins, 65BCE to 135 CE. Advances in numismatic scholarship dealing with this period have shed new light on its historical events and associated social, economic and political issues, and the speaker will analyse these fresh developments from new perspectives.

The pre-lecture reception starts at 6:00pm in the Terrace Restaurant (Wilkins Building), and will be followed by the lecture at 6.45pm in the Chadwick Lecture Theatre (Chadwick Building).
